I like the zone bars myself, but more important is that my kids really like them, also. I've found them to serve nicely as a healthy snack or a quick lunch. I think what my kids like best about them is the crunchy soy nuggets which have a similar texture to a crisp rice cereal.
I love these bars. They are the best tasting protein bars on the market. Lots of protein, lots of bulk, very filling and bottom line: absolutely delicious. I love the unusual flavors like choc mint, mango and cinnamon bun and I'm going to try the new fruit flavors. Most protein bars are too chocolatey/caramely and have a gummy texture. These are drier, crunchier, very very satisfying texture and again.. super flavor.
There are currently 4 Zone bars that are not chocolate or candy-like (too sweet), for those of us who prefer that. The 4 are of varying hardness, or crunchy-ness, with the Strawberry yogurt being the softest. Two make an excellent, affordable lunch, for those who prefer a quick, neat meal that is not like a candy-bar.

Great nutritional bar with the right balance of car/fat/protein. Great taste and very satisfying. It has saved me many times when my blood sugar runs low and I start to get weak. I find it stores well and is great on hikes--- because it doesn't melt in the heat like many chocolate based bars.

I have been using Promax bars as a meal replacement for breakfast. I find they are excellent at filling me up as well as giving me the added energy for my workout. I recommend this product to anyone that works out regularly and is looking for a good protein bar.

I first started eating Promax bars for the protein, when I was working out daily - high in protein, and the price is hard to beat. More importantly, the taste and texture are also excellent. These days, I work very long hours and rarely find time to work out. Sometimes I don't even have time to eat a proper meal. For that reason, I have a desk drawer full of Promax bars. They are an ideal meal substitute when you don't have time for a proper meal - and they taste so good that you won't even be tempted to grab a candy bar to tide you over. Whether you're in the gym once a day or once a month, I highly recommend Promax bars. There are plenty of flavors to choose from, but if you're trying these for the first time, I don't think you could go wrong with Chocolate Mint. They taste just like Thin Mints Girl Scout Cookies.

In my opinion, the super cookie crunch IS the best! It is one of the only bars I've ever had that doesn't really have that "protein" taste to it. (I'm not saying it's totally gone, just not as strong as the taste in other bars) The PB caramel crunch would be my second favorite but all in all the BIG 100 bars are great in both taste and nutrition.
These are the best tasting protein bars on the market. My favorites are the Peanut Butter Pretzel and Super Cookie Crunch. I've tried many other brands and nothing quite measures up.
These bars are great. As a business traveler, I am able to control my food intake and avoid the junk food at airports and on the road. These bars fit into my diet so that I can eat a satisfying meal without the large fat content and calories of the junk. I often eat these in hotels for breakfast to avoid the buffet where I tend to over-eat.
I really like the Peanut Butter Pretzel bars but I eat several others as well for the variety.

These bars are really good and are much healthier than many of the competing brands. The favorites in our house are the Chocolate Peanut Butter and the Smores. The Peanut Butter Granola comes in at a close 3rd.
I choose the Advantage Bars over other products because they taste as good or better than most without all the sugar alcohols. They digest well and I never get the G.I. discomfort that I associate with sugar alcohol and/or hard-to-digest proteins. I particularly enjoy the various "Granola" flavors, because they are very crunchy and filling.
I love the caramel double chocolate crunch bars. I just ordered 2 more boxes. I have also tried the cookie dough and the caramel chocolate peanut nougat. They all have a great taste.
The caramel double chocolate crunch bars are absolutely the best low carb meal bars I have ever eaten and I have eaten lots over the years. I buy them in bulk. You will not be disappointed!

These have always been the best protein bars out there. I'm not sure why Atkins is limiting production of these types of bars. Pure protein is my preferred protein bar (choco deluxe and choco peanut butter). Compared to other bars, protein content is high and from milk (not soy), and carbohydrates and fats are relatively low (with very little sugar). It does have sugar alcohols, which can cause digestive issues (but not for me or my wife). There are better tasting bars, but they have more sugar and fat - this bar tastes good and has good nutrition.
Pure Protein Bars have been a Godsend for me. I have a potassium intolerance and am on a super strict diet. These bars no only taste wonderful, satisfy my sweet tooth, but they provide me with all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals that I need and cannot get from regular food.
I absolutely love the chocolate deluxe bars. Along with a bottle of water, one will hold me over until I can get home for lunch (sometimes hours). Many of the protein bars I've tried have a funky chemical "pretend chocolate taste", but not these. I really like their RTD frosty chocolate shakes too!

I think that this bar has the most complete nutritional profile of all bars. It contains all the major kinds of protein plus l-glutamine and CLA. I add as an advantage also the fact that it does not contain soy protein at all. The taste of peanut butter and chocolate chip is very good indeed and it easily satisfies your hunger. Highly recommended.
The flavor deserves a 5 but the reason I gave it a four is because they are pretty high in calories and low in fiber. But the flavor is fantastic. If you are looking for protein and calories are not an issue, this is your product. If you are watching carbs and/or calories, this is not your product.

The chocolate chocolate chip bar really satisfies my craving for chocolate. The 30 grams of protein keeps my appetite in check. I eat two of them a day, so this fits well into my five to six meal a day program. Being on the run, sometimes I even have a bar for a lunch or dinner, that can make 3 bars in one day. Why eat fast food when you can have a bar. A little hint; put the bar in the microwave for 9 - 12 seconds. It freshens up the bar as if it just came out of the bakery. Be warned, have an extra napkin around.

This bar does not taste very good to me at all. It definitely satisfies my hunger for a while (the bar is quite big), but usually I have a hard time finishing it because of the taste. The texture is also kind of strange, and the after-taste is not very good. I can't complain about 350 calories and 30g of protein though.
I have yet to try putting it in the microwave for a few seconds like the other reviewer suggested - maybe that will make it taste fresher!

The Premier Protein Bar is a great tasting convenient protein supplement
very high in protein compared to carbohydrates like the Pure Protein Bar.
