    * I have to say up front, if you drink protein shakes for the taste alone, you'll hate this one. Go for BSN Syntha 6 or PVL Whey Gourmet. The taste of Lipotropic ranks up there with some of the worst. BUT, if you're drinking protein shakes for the aminos, this one is great. Don't know why but I always feel a surge of energy after drinking a serving of Lipotropic. While BSN & PVL are good for stamping out my sugar cravings.

    * This product is fabulous. The taste is not very good but also not too bad. They have a lot of protein, arginine, leucine, zero sugar, zero fat and only %1 carbohydrates. I'll buy it again.

    * If you can't do any Lactose at all, there's not a lot of choices. This is one, and the 'Extra Rich' Vanilla flavor is not bad. However it is too much vanilla flavor, being enough to overpower the Pea flavor. I mix 1/2 and 1/2 with Muscle Milk Vanilla, which doesn't have enough vanilla flavor. It comes out pretty good with 1/2 water and 1/2 vanilla soy milk. This keeps the cost per shake down, and also reduces the cholesterol intake. One suggestion I would have for LG Sciences is, if you have to overpower the Pea flavor why not go with it and make a 'Split Pea Soup' flavor, meant to drink simmering hot? Yum. It would make a nice change of pace from the shakes.

    * I developed an allergy to whey/milk protein drinks after years of use. I get extremely bloated. This product gives me no bloat. The taste isn't as good but it isn't that bad either.
