"Has it really been 20 years since I began doing MUSCLEHEDZ? WOW! - feels more like 50!

This special 20th Anniversary Calendar proudly features 80 of my best MUSCLEHEDZ cartoons. Hopefully, some of your favorites are here. If not, hopefully, you'll find some new favorites.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank the great people at Netrition.com for making this calendar possible. I've had a wonderful working relationship with them since 1999. That's the year we first began sending out the weekly Toon of The Week newsletter, and I look forward to continuing my relationship with them for many years to come. If you're not already a regular customer of theirs, you should be! You are holding this calendar in your strong and sweaty little hands because of them! They are simply the best!

Secondly, I'd like to thank former Editor-In-Chief of FLEX Magazine, Jerry Kindela, for bringing me into the fold in 1993, and giving me a chance to showcase what I could do for FLEX. While he was there, Jerry really made MUSCLEHEDZ an important part of the magazine by giving the series the prestigious back page. Jerry somehow knew that people would eventually catch on and start at the back of the magazine, read that month's installment of MUSCLEHEDZ, then jump ahead to the front of the magazine. Yes, it did catch on, and that's what really helped cement MUSCLEHEDZ as an integral part of bodybuilding. Brilliant, Jerry... Thank you!

Lastly, I'd like to thank all of you die-hard bodybuilders who still appreciate MUSCLEHEDZ. My goal is never to offend, but to simply poke fun at the ridiculous things we all do in the name of building more muscle. And, you have to admit - we do DO some ridiculous things to make gains, don't we? Oh well - it's all worth it because we're bodybuilders - the strongest creatures on this planet!!... next to ants.
