They've varied in quality, but even the worst of them have been usable... until now. The problem I have is that the plastic strainer insert goes in tightly and is next to impossible to remove. I tried using the bottle several times to make sure it wasn't a fluke - at best, it takes a minute or two with a metal fork to get out, but I once had to use a pair of pliers.
