February 21, 2018Reviewer: Laurie in Ohio* I would only recommend this if you like topped chicken breast. It tastes like thin chicken breast with toppings. If you want that, it is good, but pricey. I cooked all ways with a different pizza each time. still just a decent piece of chicken with toppings.
November 16, 2017Reviewer: Sue in Massachusetts* Due to the high cost, my son and I split the cost and each had 4 pizzas. After picking them up from me, he & his partner ate all 4 for one dinner, 2 each. Their verdict...they liked them but wouldn't order them again. I spread mine out over 4 meals, 2 lunches and 2 dinners cooked 3 different ways. The makers of this product should be embarrassed to call these "large" pizzas. They are smaller than any small or "personal pan" pizza I ever had at a restaurant or pizza place! Also, it's insulting to say that one of these tiny pizzas is 2 servings. For lunch one whole pizza was satisfying but for dinner I included a big salad to make it a more filling meal. The only good thing I can say about this product is that the sausage pieces were substantial and the toppings were tasty. I've never made a chicken crust myself, but now that I've tried it, I will probably stick to making Fat Head Pizzas at home. I'm on a small social security pension so if I hadn't split the cost with my son this would have been an even bigger waste of money than it was! This review is specific to Grain Free, Low Carb Large Pizza, The Supreme
November 13, 2017Reviewer: Danielle in Connecticut* First, these "large" pizzas are smaller than a small you would get at a pizza parlor. They are more like personal size (6.5 inches). Still, I really wanted to like them but the crust has a very strong chicken flavor. I tried them both just baked and then baked and fried on the stove but found neither palatable.
November 09, 2017Reviewer: Sheila in Massachusetts* My husband and I each had one large one tonight for dinner with a salad. It was very tasty. I added extra pepperoni, some sliced garlic, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and some garlic and pepper oil. I followed the recommendation to fry it in a pan with some oil that was preheated. The final step made a big difference as my husband chose not to fry his and it was not as good.
This was much better than using low carb pita bread. It held its shape and we didn't need to use our pizza stone. I didn't notice the chicken in the crust at all. It tasted like pizza. This review is specific to Grain Free, Low Carb Large Pizza, Pepperoni
