February 23, 2022Reviewer: ZAIDA in South Carolina* I wanted to recreate a cold shrimp pasta my mom makes. I cooked the pasta for 6 minutes, drained and then set in the fridge. Once everything else was prepped, just the process of combining the diced veggies, mayo, shrimp and pasta totally destroyed the pasta. It because an unappetizing mess. I usually eat my mistakes, I had food waste, but I could not. I picked out the shrimp and threw the rest out. I tried it before it completely fell apart and it definitely has a firm, whole wheat mouth feel to it. With whole wheat pasta, I always boiled way longer because I didn't enjoy the firm, whole wheat pasta. I'd imagine cooking this longer than 6 minutes would only create more issues. I'm super disappointed. I've got a whole other bag, I don't want to waste ingredients or time so we'll see what I figure out. All in all, not impressed.
