2 of 2 people found the following review helpfulAugust 03, 2011Reviewer: Doreen in Nevada* I have been using L-Lysine for some time to prevent fever blisters (cold sores) and it has always been effective. The last one pound bottle I bought did not seem to have the usual amount of the amino acid in the powder. I increased the amount I took after the first outbreak of fever blisters. Even after doing that I suffered with two more outbreaks of cold sores.
The disappointing thing about this incident is that I contacted NOW by email and they did not even reply. I will be purchasing some other brand of L-Lysine in the future. This review is specific to L-Lysine Powder

In addition to that, I've cured my dog's canine lupus by giving him a small dose of lysine daily. This review is specific to L-Lysine Powder
