November 11, 2016Reviewer: Linda in Iowa* I have been using Curcumin for a few years now. I began using because I was experiencing aching arthritic type pain in my hips after waking in the morning. I did some research and learned that Curcumin has been used for many years for many reasons, and arthritis was one of those problems. I no longer have the aches and discomfort and I was able to stop taking ibuprofen for the pain. . It works! This review is specific to Curcumin

2 of 2 people found the following review helpfulDecember 15, 2009Reviewer: Michelle in California* Excellent for stomach issues like GERD. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease last year & have been suffering with horrible acid reflux for 10 years. I was up to the point of taking 2 prescription acid reflux pills per day, and still having horrible heart burn. I tried everything, being EXTREMELY careful with diet (no alcohol, coffee, orange juice, soda, spicy or acidic foods in 10 years!). My friend who Vietnamese & uses natural herbs told me about turmeric, and how it help your stomach with acid reflux, cancer, etc. Now, I'm not a doctor, but after her urging for more than 3 months, I finally gave it a try, and IT'S AMAZING. If I take 2 of these per day, I have NO acid reflux and DON'T have to take any prescription medications for GERD. Now, if I go without it, the acid reflux comes back, so I just stay with it. And FYI: I've found most of NOW supplements are gluten free and safe for celiacs.
