1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulAugust 31, 2010Reviewer: Betty in Oklahoma* I agree, the EFAGold is the superior product and Netrition has the lowest price I've seen. The smell is atrocious when you open the bottle, but there are no burps or after-taste.

3 of 4 people found the following review helpfulSeptember 17, 2008Reviewer: Aaron and Angel in Illinois* I've been using this brand for a while, and it seems like a high quality product. Please note that it is NOT recommended that you refrigerate the product (unlike other fish oil products) I think because refrigeration bursts the capsule, or something like that. It also stinks! If you can't stomach a strong fishy smell, you may not be able to take these capsules. However, I've had no problems with aftertaste or fishy burps later on. Neptune Krill oil is recommended by the Protein Power low-carb gurus, Drs. Michael and Mary Dan Eades for the phospholipids and pretty much everything else listed in the nutrition profile. Please note that the Drs. Eades do not endorse this particular brand - they sell a different brand on their website, which has a similar nutrition profile, but is packaged in blister packs. EFAGold gelcaps are all loose in one plastic bottle. For more great information on the health benefits of krill oil, I recommend visiting Dr. Mike's blog - http://www.proteinpower.com/drmike/ - and do a search on "neptune krill".
