May 04, 2007Reviewer: Diana in Iowa* Good for making my own flax o' meal cereal. In a 1:1:2 ratio mix 1 part wheat bran with 1 part flax meal with 2 parts protein powder. If you use vanilla, add cinnamon. If you use chocolate protein powder, add cocoa powder. Add cream cheese, water and nuke. You have easy cheap low carb flax cereal!
This stuff is also good to increase fiber in your diet. Only 1 carb per Tablespoon. I usually add it to my eggs in the morning to add consistency, texture, and fiber to my diet.
