It takes a little getting used to if you've never taken it before, though. I got pins and needles like crazy for the first week I used it, but I think that's just a good indication of potency and that wears off after a few days. I go a little further when I run or hit the weights, and I don't feel so sore the day after, so I definitely recommend it. And getting clean, single ingredients is a better way to go than a lot of the 'all in one' preworkout mixes, in my experience.
I use about 2 grams of beta alanine before a workout, and take it with about 5 grams of creatine monohydrate. When I finish, I make a protein shake with about 50 grams of protein, 5 more grams of creatine and 80 grams of waxy maize starch.
