January 25, 2018Reviewer: Dan in California* Ugh! The taste of this product is absolutely disgusting. It tastes just about like how one would expect a waste product to taste.
I can't understand why anyone would buy this. I've been using nutritional yeast (Red Star) which tastes so good, I use it as a flavoring for homemade salad dressing. I wanted to avoid the folic acid they add to it, without spending $20 a pound for organic. So I tried this.
I wish I could give it zero stars, I wish I could get my money back. This review is specific to Brewers Yeast Powder

One serving suggestion is to mix with juice, I have found that sweeter juices tend to work better than tart, but that may just be personal preference. I have yet to try it as an ingredient in cooking.
This works well for me and I would recommend purchasing it. Still have half of the first tub, bought a second to avoid running out. This review is specific to Brewers Yeast Powder
