May 14, 2014Reviewer: Edward in Colorado* I have been using this product since Aug 2012 for medical reasons. Specifically, I had celiac disease which triggered Hashimotos/hypothyroidism, and hypoproteinemia due to gut destruction by gluten. My total blood protein, unsupplemented, is usually around 6.1 g/dl; whereas vigorous people will have a reading in the upper half of the 6.2-8.3 g/dl range. Hypoproteinemia causes severe middle insomnia for me, but taking a couple tablespoons of amino-9 when I wake up, followed by 10mcg T3 an hour later to support protein synthesis, puts me into deep sleep with no side effects next day. This is a much better solution than any allopathic sleeping medication, all of which make me feel horrible.
