April 28, 2013Reviewer: Julie in Western Australia* Well, I ordered 2 different syrups and this one is terrible. The flavor is just nasty. I don't think I can describe it and I will not taste it again to try. Literally, money down the drain. This review is specific to Sugar Free Pancake Syrup, Maple Flavored

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulFebruary 28, 2013Reviewer: Abagail in Iowa* I ordered the Maple Syrup and Boysenberry flavored syrup. They were fairly runny, and tasted a little to much like water to me. The maple syrup didn't have a very strong maple flavor, so if you like a very light maple taste I think you may enjoy it! The boysenberry had a stronger flavor which I liked but it was still watery and soaked all the way through my pancakes.
My kids however like them just because they don't usually get syrup! I would buy it again for my kids.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulJanuary 12, 2013Reviewer: Mary in Virginia* My mom can only use stevia as a sweetener, no other sugar or carbohydrate is allowed in her diet. I was so excited to find this product(for her pancakes made with almond flour). I was slightly skeptical because one review said it was too watery. I bought it anyway since there were no other choices I could find on line. I was very happy to hear that she said it was really good. I asked her if she thought it was a bit watery and she said no, not at all! I ordered two more bottles for her and asked her if she wanted to pick any other flavors and she said no, I like the maple, that's what I'm used too. So there you have it!This review is specific to Sugar Free Pancake Syrup, Maple Flavored
2 of 2 people found the following review helpfulSeptember 25, 2012Reviewer: JOHN in New York* Stevia pancake syrup is a rare bird. I've done an extensive google search & was only able to find 3 brands that sell them online, with Ali's being one of them. I've yet to see any available in any stores as of yet. By far Ali's taste the best of the 3 brands. Of the other two brands, one was very watery with a bad aftertaste & the other was thick as glue & very bitter. Ali's taste better than both. Now don't get me wrong, none of these are as sweet as Log Cabin, LOL! But you have to make some small sacrifices if you want an all natural product that is good for you. So you just have to get used to the taste of stevia, which is different than the, bad for you, high fructose corn syrup & artificial flavors in the major brand syrups.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulJuly 10, 2012Reviewer: AliYah in Texas* I've tried 2 other SF syrups and both were great tasting to me. I started avoiding one of them because of the sucralose in it and I started avoiding others because of the Maltitol in it which can give really bad gas.
So, I was so excited to try this product because it contained no sugar, sucralose, no maltitol and had very low calories and carbs. Much to my horror, this product tasted so terrible.
It had a sour(vinegary) & slightly sweet flavor and was extremely runny. I still have an almost complete bottle left that I do not want. Maybe it was a bad batch or something. I don't know. But I won't be ordering Ali's SF syrup again.
Back to my previous sugar free syrup for me; I usually mix in a very little bit of regular syrup with it and it seems to cut down on any abdominal discomfort. This review is specific to Sugar Free Pancake Syrup, Maple Flavored
June 04, 2012Reviewer: Karen in Maryland* Flavor is not bad, but very thin. Might be suitable for flavoring coffee, but not on pancakes. This review is specific to Sugar Free Pancake Syrup, Boysenberry Flavored
