    * I really didn't expect much from this product remembering the powdered milk from my youth. I was very pleasantly surprised that made as whole milk, this product tasted just like regular whole milk. I don't normally drink much milk and have not had any in 3 years, but this milk paired up with a couple of low carb Christmas cookies was a real treat!

    * I have Celiac and Type 2 Diabetes so it is hard to find products that cater to both. This one does. I mix it according to directions for whole milk and then add a little extra cream. Tastes like milk to me but with a hint of vanilla. I can drink a glass of it just fine. I also use it in my protein smoothie every morning. I have not found any recipe that I have used it in that it has not worked just fine, even sauces. I have only tried the regular milk powder.

    * I find very little difference in taste or mouth-feel between this and plain tap water. It has more calories than almond milk but none of the taste. Drab and tasteless are the words that come to mind.

    I tried doubling the amount per glass (and the calories) but there is no difference. This may be derived from milk but whatever gives milk it's taste has obviously been removed.

    * Pros:

    1. It gives you the relative consistency and feel of milk, without any carbs!

    2. Great for mixing chocolate milk, or pairing with low carb brownies, sugar free chocolate, etc.

    3. Good Source of Protein!

    1. It doesn't taste like milk. It tastes like Whey Protein powder (which isn't really so bad!). Has that distinct malty flavor and (unfortunately) a significant stevia aftertaste that is the one thing I still sigh about in regards to the otherwise great natural sweetener. Also slight vanilla tones like you would find in a whey protein powder, but tastes like a high quality one at least.

    2. Slightly confusing mixing instructions. Despite having 3 "recipes" for "1%" "2%" and "Whole" milk, I find that even the "whole milk" amounts of cream and powdered mix have less body than regular milk.

    If you have trouble mixing it (I don't reccomend using a whisk like they do, too messy.) I have found the ideal solution for mixing your milk concoction.

    Get a good quality cocktail mixer. The sealable kind work best for this since you don't need to strain. weigh and measure the powder into the bottom, then heavy cream, then 3-4 ice cubes, then 6 oz of water. Close, shake vigorously for 30 seconds, open, and voila! Pour yourself a frothy, fully homogenized (no powder clumps!) pre-chilled (thank you, ice cubes) glass of low-carb milk.

    Works every time. Plus a great forearm workout ;)

    * Made sugar free very low carb fudgsicles with 2 heaping tablespoons of this milk powder, two heaping tablespoons of cocoa powder (no sugar or sweetener added, just the plain chocolate), one packet of stevia, one box of sugar free chocolate pudding mix, little vanilla extract, and three cups sugar free almond milk. As pudding was heat and serve variety, heated the almond milk in the microwave, mixed powders together first, then combined dry and wet in blender. Turned out really good, very chocolatey and sweet enough. Try it if you want to make your own sugar free, very low carb fudgsicles. Enjoy.

    * The reason I continue to buy it is to make white chocolate... for which the recipe I use calls for milk powder. It's pretty good for that, a bit grainy, but I think that is just because I need to master chocolate making still.

    * This stuff makes low carb heavy cream and water taste just like real milk. If you miss the taste of milk, you'll love this stuff.
