July 05, 2020Reviewer: A customer* My disclaimer is that I live at altitude, so this may not be suitable for anyone above sea level. It baked up beautifully and looked amazing in the oven, but the minute I took it out of the oven it dropped like a rock into a solid mass. That was very disappointing. Taste was okay, not great. Will have to figure out how to make a low carb cake on my own.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulJune 06, 2020Reviewer: Steven in Illinois* I thought I followed all the instructions and used chilled water and bowl, but the cake wound up like a cheesy mess at the bottom of the pan. The top was nicely brown, but it was almost all air and separate from the mess on the bottom. Also what was a little cakey tasted with different unpleasant after tastes. Not close to other angel food cake mixes that are higher carbs.

July 13, 2019Reviewer: christine in California* As a senior citizen who is on Weight Watchers, with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and borderline diabetes, I was happy to find a company who makes no fat, no sugar angel food cake. I tried it yesterday and was very pleased with the results. Nice flavor, easy to make, very satisfying. This will help me to achieve success on my weight and fitness program. Thanks.

5 of 5 people found the following review helpfulDecember 04, 2015Reviewer: A customer in Indiana* I don't use this for angel food cake because I'm not a big fan of that kind of cake. Instead, I use this to supplement my low-carb baking, because the nutrition facts for this are better than most low-carb cake flours I've found. It works really well to that effect. I mix it with Carbquik for cakes and other baked desserts. It's generic enough that it goes with just about anything. Great product to experiment with. The only downside is the price. I'm torn over whether to purchase this on a regular basis or save it for special occasions because it's so expensive for the amount you get. If Dixie would sell this in bulk, or something very similar, I would be all over that.
