September 12, 2020Reviewer: Kitiara in Washington* I am on a Keto diet. So the last thing I need is 'gluten free'. Other flours actually have more carbs. than regular wheat flour. Vital wheat gluten is a great way to help low carb. breads rise with a real wheat taste. I can't find gluten at my local stores, I guess because everyone is on the gluten-free band wagon. Not everyone had a gluten allergy, thank you for stocking this product.

January 29, 2020Reviewer: A customer in Virginia* I cannot believe the improvement this product makes in all my various bread and muffin recipes! I'd already started using Kodiak All-Purpose Flour to increase my protein level but, adding a mere 2T of this gives a significant protein boost and takes the "mouth feel" of the finished product to a yummy slightly chewy level. I pair this with 0% Fage Greek yogurt and either chopped apples or kale (for a savory product). LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

It also helps the taste of the carbalose using 1/4 cup for bread loaf. Check out the carbalose recipes on Netrition. I have been experimenting with low carb bread recipes for years and always come back to the ones using VWG!
