March 01, 2015Reviewer: Dita in Florida* I baked the Rye Bread. I was very pleased with the taste. I have made my own LC Rye and it was a lot of work. I will now use this mix. It was really good. Just remember to not cut the bread until it is cool and use a serrated knife. This review is specific to Carb Counters One Step Homemade Bread Mix, Rye
1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulJanuary 28, 2015Reviewer: A customer in Saudi Arabia* This has the taste and texture of a savory cake rather than proper bread, but I don't mind that at all. It's still by far one of the best low carb bread substitutes that I have come across through my 10-year low carbing journey.
Affordability, long shelf life, and being ridiculously easy to make are big pluses.
The portion size suggests that this can actually be cut into 24 slices. I found that to be impossible when baked in a ban of the suggested size. Best I could get was 20 slices. This review is specific to Carb Counters One Step Homemade Bread Mix, All Natural White
