7 of 8 people found the following review helpfulDecember 06, 2013Reviewer: peggy in Texas* I am post Gastric Bypass and twice daily consumption of a good Whey protein drink is recommended by my physician. I was a big fan of Champion Pure Whey Stack for many years until they changed the formula about two years ago. Although the original formula was Pure Whey, this new formula is NOT Pure Whey as the name suggests. Whole Milk Powder has been added, presumably because it is cheaper to produce, but has had terrible effects on my digestion of this product. Regrettably I had to change the brand of Protein that I use daily.
When I saw this new name, no longer Pure Whey Stack, but now Pure Whey Plus, I had hoped that they had changed back to Pure Whey, but according to the information here, Whole Milk Powder is still an ingredient. Sorry Champion, I, and a lot of my post Bypass friends, still will not be buying your product.
I wish I knew how they could continue to call their product Pure Whey when it isn't.. I feel this is very misleading and I no longer trust this company with which I once trusted my good health.
