August 21, 2016Reviewer: A customer in Indiana* I've tried just about every brand of low-cal/low-carb protein powder out there, whey and casein and blends, and Select is my favorite by a landslide. I don't even bother with other brands anymore. The texture and taste of the powder are outstanding; I could honestly just eat it straight out of the tub. It blends well as a shake, and it bakes amazingly well too. For quick, easy, healthy chocolate chip cookies, I combine 1 scoop Select Cookies & Cream, 2-3 tbsp. PB2, 3-4 tbsp. Walden Farms Pancake Syrup, 6-oz. tub CARBmaster vanilla yogurt (from Kroger or its equivalent, depending on where you live), 1 oz. Lily's chocolate chips, and a pinch of baking soda, and bake at 375F for 20 minutes. Or, for a super quick meal, I combine a scoop of any of the Select flavors with a 6-oz. tub of CARBmaster yogurt to make a sort of pudding/frosting hybrid. Also makes great protein fluff and soft-serve ice cream. So basically this stuff is insanely versatile, and it helps me live my low-carb lifestyle without feeling deprived of sweet treats.
March 29, 2015Reviewer: Julia in Colorado* This is my favorite protein powder at the moment. The Cookies n Cream and Snickerdoodle are both AMAZING. I haven't tried the Chocolate but I'm sure it is, too! It blends perfectly with anything, the taste is on-point & doesn't need any extra sweetening. I love adding it to my oats or making beltsanderbrownies out of the Cookies n Cream flavor--yum.
