February 04, 2017Reviewer: Jade in Illinois* Not bad for a low carb biscuit. I find myself making sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits with butter toasted on the biscuit itself, and it's a home run! I keep buying more.

I took one bite and my mouth fell open in awe. I have been low carb for over two years and I have never found a good biscuit recipe. These, biscuits are flaky, buttery, crumbly, and better than 90% of the "normal" biscuits I have ever had.
Having said that these were not very easy to make, and the instructions aren't complete. You have to chill the pan and the mixture, and mix things in a specific order. I did what the instructions said and my batter was very gooey and made biscuits that were more of a splat than the typical formed biscuit that I am used to. I believe that if I had chilled the biscuit mix/butter mixture again prior to folding in the egg/sour cream mixture my biscuit batter might have been less runny and easier to form into a ball.
I will definitely be ordering these again. This review is specific to Biscuit Mix, Country Style
