December 06, 2020Reviewer: Gabriela in Switzerland* I saw a lot of reviews for these products. I do really like them. I take them out of the freezer and eat them the same day or the day after. I cut them in half and toast them very shortly and put cream cheese or butter on it.. still slightly warm - for me its a true delight. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Cinnamon

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulSeptember 18, 2020Reviewer: Michelle in Missouri* I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I think it's only fair I rate this. I'm not a picky eater, I'll start with that. Took this out of the freezer and let thaw, had to try it out of the package. Bite #1: very bland and tough to eat. Dry and sorta tasteless. I tried my best to taste the cinnamon, it was too subtle to make me believe this was cinnamon. Round #2: nuked in microwave 30 seconds. Came out smokin hot! Took a bite before it cooled and the texture was better, but still pretty tasteless. Bite #3: pretzel pretty much cooled off after 2 minutes out of the microwave and I could tell it was becoming a rock. Very hard to chew. Round #4: with a dollop of cream cheese for flavor...cream cheese good, pretzel bad. So hard and chewy I was actually scared to keep eating it. So for fear of me needing the heimlich and nobody home to stand by to help, I opted to toss the remaining pieces. Have 2 more in the freezer and will see if I have a better experience with either of those. If so, I'll change my review but for now...sorry, this kinda stunk. Can't recommend. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Cinnamon

March 29, 2020Reviewer: A customer in California* Very hard even after microwaving.. Kind of dry and tasteless. And the package comes without instructions. I would not order this product again! I'm sorry I ordered more than one. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Garlic Butter

March 27, 2020Reviewer: Andrea J in Illinois* This "pretzel" was awful. Maybe mine was stale but it was hard and tasteless. And, there was barely a hint of cinnamon flavor. I was very disappointed as I usually enjoy Great Low Carb Bread Company products. I won't buy it again. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Cinnamon

March 15, 2020Reviewer: A customer in Maine* I like the idea of a soft pretzel. The texture was ok, not really soft, but ok. However it was supposed to be a cinnamon flavored pretzel. I think I got cinnamon in one bite. The manufacturer could blow us away with cinnamon. This needs to have the extra boost. Yes, I then made cinnamon butter and dipped the pretzel in that. Not great on the fat content, but made it so much better. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Cinnamon

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulAugust 11, 2019Reviewer: Jessica in Oregon* Hard as a rock even heating for 30seconds did not help. One bite and I tossed them out. So disappointed.. normally everything I get from this brand is good or at least ok. Never ever buy again. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Garlic Butter

May 02, 2019Reviewer: patricia in Pennsylvania* I wish I would have read the reviews for this before buying. I tried both the cinnamon and the garlic butter and they both tasted the same.....as in that they both tasted like hard, gummy rolled cardboard. (And I even put some salt on the garlic butter one!) Horrible! Will not purchase again. Very disappointed.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulMarch 04, 2019Reviewer: A guest* These were absolutely terrible. I threw out most of the one I tried to bake and eat like a normal pretzel. I had a second one I ended up trying to make french toast out of just to not waste the money, and that worked alright though there are better products for that too. The issue with the Low Carb Bread Company products is that when you're trying to eat them like you would bread, they taste like a dried out sea-sponge, and you can't toast that away. The pretzels don't lend themselves to being either toasted into chips or used in a bread dish where you're adding a lot of moisture, so they're not good for much. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Cinnamon

January 15, 2019Reviewer: Ronald in California* Not worth the money. Like eating rubber!
-
January 11, 2019Reviewer: Melanie in New Jersey* I really can't recommend this because it came with NO INSTRUCTIONS!!! Once I find the instructions to this I will certainly update my review, but I find it annoying and time-consuming to need to look up the instructions online. Is there a reason you cannot add a sentence or two with instructions on how to heat this item, as it looks completely raw. I'm an excellent baker, but even I am not able to guess how to cook this item.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulOctober 18, 2018Reviewer: LEANNE in Texas* I should have known from the previous reviews not to get this product. There was no flavor. I ended up adding my own garlic butter and dipping it in cheese to get any. However, there's also no instructions on the package (which, again, I knew from the reviews). I figured I would try it anyways because it was cheap enough. I threw it in the microwave and it was super hard to rip apart. Will not be buying again. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Garlic Butter

September 26, 2018Reviewer: Tamara in Virginia* I was really excited to try this pretzel, because I used to love soft pretzels. Very disappointed in it however. It was extremely hard? Even after microwaving to soften it up, it hardened right back up. There were no instructions on how to prepare it out of the freezer. It had no flavor, if you could chew it to begin with. Overall, just disappointing. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Garlic Butter

July 31, 2018Reviewer: Sara in Minnesota* Should have just went with the other reviews and passed on these. Glad I only ordered two. May 05, 2018Reviewer: Marcia in Pennsylvania* 1) No instructions on how to prepare them, and 2) I microwaved one, and it was SO dry with no taste whatsoever. The Cinnamon was so bad that I just threw away the garlic butter one. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Cinnamon

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulApril 06, 2018Reviewer: A customer in Washington* I purchased one garlic butter soft pretzel to try. I am very tolerant of the "different" textures and flavors of low carb foods and will eat almost anything, but this one was not something I could eat. It came with no directions for warming from frozen, but I saw in the reviews it could be microwaved. I microwaved it just long enough to thaw and slightly warm, then brushed with a little melted butter and topped with salt. I was going to dip it in cheese dip. But the texture was just awful and the flavor not even decent enough to cover with dip. I tried two small bites to give it a chance and then it went into the trash. So glad I only bought one. It was no good at all. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Garlic Butter

February 19, 2017Reviewer: Christine in South Carolina* I love the cinnamon pretzels for a late-night snack. I thaw in microwave (15 seconds on high) then toast it and add a little Earth Balance (or you could use butter). Filling and yummy. Nice texture, too. I appreciate that the cinnamon ones are dairy-free.This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Cinnamon

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulMarch 25, 2016Reviewer: Gail in Florida* Horrible and impossible to call it a pretzel by any shape of the imagination. Soft these are not. I tried baking and also microwaving and both came out so hard and tough I could not even bite them. Taste was awful too. Waste of money!

2 of 2 people found the following review helpfulAugust 30, 2015Reviewer: A customer in Pennsylvania* Are these the pull apart soft pretzels your lusting after on your low carb diet? No. But they are a good substitute. The cinnamon I brush with melted butter and sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and erythritol and bake until I decide it's done. With the garlic butter I brush it with melted butter and then sprinkle some salt on top and bake it the same way.
They're pretty good if you're not looking for a philly pretzel-esque food.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpfulJune 23, 2015Reviewer: brooke in Illinois* YUMMY! I love these pretzels. They make a great, quick snack. They are low in carbs and calories (for a pretzel) and high in protein. Perfect combination for me.
-
May 15, 2015Reviewer: Mark in Pennsylvania* I LOVE GLCBC products but the pretzels are pretty awful. They taste like a dirty sock, don't come with cooking directions, and are very small for what you pay. Would not recommend. Get the bagels or bread instead.

7 of 7 people found the following review helpfulJanuary 14, 2015Reviewer: Leslie in Ohio* I love these pretzels! At first, I thought they were just mediocre. Then, I realized that if I bake them until they are more well-done, they taste very similar to a regular pretzel. I am so happy Netrition carries these because the other Great Low Carb Bread company items have nuts as an ingredient. The pretzels are "nut-free", and I can enjoy them without an allergic reaction. I have tried the garlic and the cinnamon, and I like them both (although I believe I will eat the cinnamon one more often as a snack with some extra stevia-sweetened cinnamon or a cream cheese dip). This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Cinnamon

4 of 4 people found the following review helpfulDecember 26, 2014Reviewer: Christine in South Carolina* I am a huge fan of this company's bagels, so thought I'd give the pretzels a try. What a treat! A filling snack, and tasty. Just like their bagels, even though the pretzel is really low carb it's got a nice texture. Just the right amount of chewy. This review is specific to Soft Pretzel, Garlic Butter
