September 01, 2019Reviewer: Ann in New York* Great product but too pricey for the small amount. I'll recommend it if you can afford it. I'd want to eat this on a regular basis but...

April 27, 2019Reviewer: Stacy in California* Filling. Takes on the flavor of the sauce so assuming you like the sauce or dressing you're serving with it, you'll probably like these noodles. I accidently let them soften in hot water for about two minutes, instead of the 30 seconds recommended. It would've been better to stick with the thirty seconds. I made a hot chicken and vegetable soup and the noodles continued softening in the finished dish so they were alittle overcooked but still had texture. Highly recommend this product. Two pouches come in each package.

May 18, 2018Reviewer: Cynthia in Louisiana* Loved it! Easy to prepare. This was a two bowl process.
Bowl 1: 2 cups of hot water to soften the Kanten Pasta
Bowl 2: Softened butter, grated parm, Italian seasoning, minced garlic and salt.
After submerging the Kanten Pasta in hot water and stirring with a fork for about 1 minute, the texture tasted like al dente boiled pasta!
I drained the water from the Kanten Pasta and added the pasta to Bowl 2. Combined the pasta and sauce together. Perfect!! The sauce coated the pasta, and the texture remained a satisfying "pasta-chewy!"
I was going to prepare both packets, but glad I only did one. It was very filling and delicious!

June 10, 2016Reviewer: Ronda in Indiana* As a diabetic I had pretty much given up on having one of my favorites, pasta with butter and Parmesan. I wasn't able to bring myself to try the packaged versions of these noodles that came in liquid. Fish smells put me off. But these don't have that problem. There is a slight brine smell to them when you submerge them in water, but only slight (my husband swears I have mutant olfactory senses so it may just be me). It in no way affects the taste. They aren't the texture of regular pasta as has been said but they really do take on the flavor of what you put them in. Expensive to be sure but they are worth it when you've spent the past five years sneaking small bites of your husband's pasta wishing you could just dig in like you used to.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpfulMarch 17, 2015Reviewer: A customer in Maryland* These were a pleasant surprise. These are--unlike shirataki noodles which have been soaked in a foul liquid that you can never seem to fully rinse away--these were totally tasteless. The texture is like a glass noodle.
Wasn't sure I would like it, given their weird shape and texture, but in an Asian recipe they were phenomenal. In Italian, not as well, but they weren't offensive.

5 of 5 people found the following review helpfulMarch 13, 2015Reviewer: A customer in Texas* Noodles are totally flavorless. They take on the taste of whatever they are softened in. Gluten-free and soy-free, so they are great for those with these sensitivities. I take them to work, add heated broth or bouillon and some sliced/diced meat/veggies. Super quick and easy. Much more portable than traditional Miracle Noodles. The only negative is the high cost for the relatively small amount of noodles. I have been buying these from the manufacturer and am happy to find them here at Netrition for less.
