June 29, 2016Reviewer: Daniel in California* I'm eating one of these bars right now, and maybe I should be sitting down concentrating on it's wonderful flavors and obvious healthfulness, but I find myself writing this review: I love Bhu! I'm eating the chocolate-y one right now, and it's pretty decadent, surprisingly so for all of its excellent nutritional perks. It says organic, protein, and low sugar, so that's all pretty cool, but what I'm loving right now is the taste.

However, there are a few things that bother me. The number one ingredient is prebiotic fiber (probably IMO), which affects people's blood sugar, so the 1g sugar claim isn't so helpful. The second thing is that there is a mistake on the nutrition facts, it says 9g fiber and 1g sugars. So the total carbohydrate count is actually 10g, not 9g, which is on the label. Hopefully it's just an honest mistake.
Anyway, if they can dump the prebiotic fiber, I'd tell everyone I know about them. Until then, I'll only have one every once in a while. This review is specific to Primal Protein Bar, Vanilla Almond & Cashew
