NuNaturals LoSweet is superior to stevia extract in my opinion. It has about the same sweetness as stevia extract while being MUCH less bitter (although still slightly bitter). Its slight bitterness and faint popcorn-like flavour are only detectable when it's tasted on its own. Once it's mixed with anything, it just tastes like pure, non-bitter sweetness.
LoSweet tastes nothing like NuNaturals' other lo han product, 'Pure Liquid Lo Han Supreme.' To me, the latter has a perculiar bitter fruity flavour which taints whatever it's put in. Luckily this isn't the case at all with LoSweet.
Stevia extract is generally cheaper than LoSweet, and it's good for hot beverages and baking. In these instances stevia's bitterness isn't really noticeable. However, when it comes to sweetening protein drinks, I find stevia's bitterness taints them. NuNaturals LoSweet on the other hand, makes them taste like they're sweetened with sugar.
