February 09, 2019Reviewer: Cinthia in Western Australia* I learned about the Stevia plant when I traveled to Peru, one of the only places where Stevia actually grows. This is the best alternative sweeter on the market today because they use the more expensive "Rebaudioside (Reb D)" part of the Stevia plant. Unfortunately, almost all other Stevia alternative sweetener brands use the much less expensive "Rebaudioside (Reb A)" part of the Stevia plant to save money. But (Reb A) can leave that nasty bitter aftertaste we've all come to recognize with Stevia! It's truly unfortunate that when we think of "Splenda" we automatically assume itís artificial. However, this truly is an "All-Natural" alternative sweetener. The name certainly hasn't helped this product, but read the ingredients. Both the taste and texture are identical to white table sugar. I promise you, once you've tried this sweetener, you will never use another Stevia or alternative sweetener again!
